Meg Mac's The New Support Act

Just when you thought Meg Mac couldn’t get any sexier she goes and announces that she’s supporting a musician with the best ab’s in the biz.

Sharing news via a surprise Facebook post yesterday morning, Meg Mac has announced that she will support D'Angelo and The Vanguard on a 13 date US tour.

"I feel like I get surprised by something almost everyday. Here is my latest surprise," the Grandma’s Hands singer said. "Just like last time - I came to America for one reason (SXSW) and ended up here longer for a different reason (The Clean Bandit tour) Well it’s happened again and today is announcement day. I AM SUPPORTING D'Angelo ON HIS US TOUR. You just can’t get used to surprises, that’s why they’re the best."

Meg Mac has already won Triple J’s Unearthed Artist of 2014 and had three songs in the 2014 triple j Hottest 100 ('Grandma's Hands', 'Roll Up Your Sleeves' & 'Bridges' Like A Version) and sold out her recent Australian tour. Now, she has her sights set on the U.S., and the announcement of this second major support spot in just months shows she's well on the way to becoming yet another Aussie to successfully crack the American market in 2015

While the Americas might be getting a face full of Meg Mac her Aussie fans have to wait until July to catch her at Splendour in the Grass.
