17 Year Old Brisbane Songstress Wins International Unsigned Competition
Brisbane's own, 17 year old Lili Kendall has won the international unsigned only competition and announced the release of her brand new single, 'Run'.
Sydney electronic trio Mansionair have just announced they’ve been signed to Liberation Music and Mushroom Publishing, a big step for the guys that formed in January 2014.
Their first single ‘Hold Me Down’ was a hit on YouTube, with over 10 million views and over 2 million plays on Soundcloud. It’s no wonder that these hyped performers have got themselves on the books. They spent a great deal of last year touring and got to play at the renowned SXSW, along with gigs in New York and Brooklyn in the U.S. At home, they played at St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival and recently supported alt-J.
The members Jack Froggatt, Lachlan Bostock and Alex Nicholls, along with their new management, are pretty excited. In addition to these signings, Mansionair have also just inked a deal with Glassnote Records for North America, the UK and Europe, joining a roster that includes Mumford & Sons, CHVRCHES, The Temper Trap, Phoenix and more.
The band are looking forward to releasing something later in the year and as Liberation Music and Mushroom Publishing put it, they “are very excited to welcome Sydney indie-electronic trio Mansionair to the family.” We’re expecting big things.
