Brand New Music Venue To Open In Brisbane
To all you music lovers out there, Brisbane is about to open a brand new live music venue, complete with a nautical theme, a kitchen and a bar - The Milk Factory will open in South Brisbane this week.
Mal Gill, The owner of cafes in the Stones Corner CBD precinct, has partnered up with chef Asher Blackford and bar manager Daniel Gregory. The new venue is on the former site of The Joynt, which closed earlier this year, and The Coronation Hotel, which was named in 1953 in honour of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
The venue intends to have live music and DJs across six nights of the week and the venue will be booked by Dominic Miller of artist management and booking agency Bluebeard Music.
The bar will offer a selection of craft beer, all inspired by Hawaii, Japan, Korea and East China and will change every three months.
The Milk Factory will be open on Thursday 2nd October and will feature music from three of Brisbane’s most unique bands – Moski Jo, Daryl James Music Train and Veroskees.
