Nova & The Experience Announce East Coast Tour And Release New Single

Indie pop favourites Nova & The Experience have just announced a nine-date East Coast tour, to promote the release of their new single ‘Shipwrecked’.

‘Shipwrecked’ is the last song off N.A.T.E’s latest EP - ‘There’s Something Here’. The song helps to round off the loose narrative that was told throughout the EP. This slow building track (in 6/8 timing, unusual for a pop song) was again produced by Lachlan Mitchell and is rolling, layered and visually descriptive.

This tour is the perfect way to kick off 2014. These shows combined with an exclusive album currently on sale in Japan through Thistime records and main support slots for Jinja Safari earlier in the month indicates this is a year full of big possibilities for N.A.T.E.

The previous 12 months for the Sydney based band was one of growth and significant achievement, which all culminated in the band receiving the inaugural First Break Development award from Commercial Radio Australia and the Mushroom Group.

It also saw them release their 3rd EP There’s Something Here, their most popular and critically acclaimed release to date. Their music received Triple J airplay and was featured on numerous US & Canadian music blogs. They won a competition against 100's of bands to open for Stonefield and Amy Meredith at the Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinema Charity Launch. As well as playing the sold out Red Deer Music and Arts Festival with The Grates and Kingswood.
