Pozible Launches 'Pozible Gigs' $10,000 to be WON!

POZIBLE

Be it a quiet backyard acoustic performance or an extravaganza on the steps of Sydney Opera House, crowdfunding platform Pozible wants to bring to life live music performances across Australia.

  • Pozible launches ‘Pozible Gigs’, with the aim to crowdfund live music events across Australia
  • $10,000 in cash prizes on offer
  • Submissions open now until 12 August
  • Event Coordinators, venues, musicians and anyone in the community encouraged to put on events both large and small

‘Pozible Gigs’ is an initiative designed to encourage event coordinators, venues, musicians and anyone who’s ever thought of throwing their own music show, big or small, to crowdfund and put on their own event.

What’s the incentive? $10,000 cold hard cash! Prizes are being offered across five categories including Most Funds Raised, Most Supporters, Pozible Pick, Fastest to Target and Most Social Media Shares.

Music is the second biggest category on Pozible with over $2.1 million having been raised for more than 550 projects to date and crowdfunding live music in particular has been a perfect fit for the platform.

“Musicians have been among the fastest to embrace crowdfunding in Australia and through Pozible Gigs we hope to further the support we are offering”, said Pozible Director Alan Crabbe.

“While i am sure lots of potential event coordinators will be excited about the prizes on offer, what we are excited about is seeing more performance opportunities and exposure for musicians and significantly more money directed in to putting on great live music performances”, Alan said.

As part of the crowdfunding campaigns it is expected people will offer tickets, drink vouchers, albums, merchandise and opportunities to meet the bands and will look to raise money for artist payments, venues, drinks and AV.

Submissions for ‘Pozible Gigs’ open today and close 12 August. All participating crowdfunding campaigns will go live on the 26 August.
