Create/Control Welcomes California Wives
Indie rockers California Wives are set to introduce themselves to Australian audiences with their first single ‘Blood Red Youth’.
Taken from their debut album Art History, set for Australian release on February 22nd, opening track ‘Blood Red Youth’ is full of lusciously-layered synths, combined with driving, jangly guitars, and topped off by a swelling, sing/shout-along chorus.
Hailing from Chicago, USA, it was through a shared appreciation of combining synthetic and traditional instruments and compatible chemistry that California Wives was born. Art History was soon in motion with the four-piece working with NYC producer Claudius Mittendorfer (known for his work with Interpol, Neon Indian, and Wild Nothing).

The single ‘Blood Red Youth’ is out now in Australia via Create/Control.
