Need an excuse to wipe the metaphorical cobwebs off your Halloween costume before Saturday? Then zombie-shuffle down to The Brightside this Friday for ‘Deadlam’, presented by Brisbane’s Bedlam Records.
The event will kick off at 5pm with bands playing across two stages, on The Brightside’s stage and on its outdoor carpark.
Headlining the second installment of the Bedlam Records showcase event are hardcore rockers Young Lions and garage punks Kaleidoscope, along with Twin Haus, Baskervillain, Zeahorse, The Jensens, The Pinheads, WALKEN, Gallu$, Big Dead, Road Of Kicks, and late night funk and house from Zazz Mansion.
Taking time out from their current tour, ambient-psych quartet Twin Haus are THE act to catch at Deadlam.
Their unique brand of experimental atmospheric rock has seen them tour with Dune Rats, Gang Of Youths, and Millions as well as perform at Jungle Love Music & Arts Festival, Shredlam, and Psych Fest.
Twin Haus’ latest single I Used To Think, the first taste of an upcoming EP,has received with a groundswell of praise both locally and along the East Coast.
The four-piece has also been added to The Festival Of The Sun Lineup and has signed with a L.A based management company, with plans to tour the U.S in early 2016.
So with such an amazing crop of bands, why not throw on that old beer-stained pirate costume or that old Sombrero and fake facial hair and get down with Deadlam this Halloween Eve!
