Get ready to go from rap to alt rock to indie pop as we bring you all the gigs you should have tickets for in October.
Allday – Friday 3rd @ The Zoo
The Adelaide via Melbourne MC will be returning to Brisbane after slamming Valley Fiesta harder than he slams his rhymes. Lucky you if you managed to score tickets because this young man has almost completely sold out his Startup Cult tour.
The Whitlams – Friday 17th @ The Hi Fi
Legendary Sydney band The Whitlams will hit up the Hi Fi in a couple weeks for the first time since their sold out 2013 tour. There’s no aphrodisiac like loneliness…except maybe a Whitlams gig, better bring a date.

Ball Park Music – Saturday 18th @ The Tivoli
If you missed these Brissie legends earlier in the year then make sure to catch their Trippin’ The Lights Fantastic tour. They killed it at Splendour a couple months ago with their Bohemian Rhapsody cover. Could it make a reappearance at the Tivoli? Guess you’ll just have to see for yourself.

Blurst of Times Festival – Saturday 18th @ The Zoo & The Brightside
Featuring pretty much every Brisbane act you’ve ever wanted to see (DZ Deathrays, Velociraptor, Major Leagues, The Creases, The Jensens….) across three venues, you simply must get along to this music extravaganza! Also, as a bonus, when someone asks you how it was you can legitimately say “It was the best of times, it was the BLURST OF TIMES!!!” and have a good laugh about when The Simpsons was good.

The Griswolds – Thursday 23rd @ The Brightside
This Sydney buzz band will take the stage at The Brightside to play their debut album Be Impressive. With over 100,000 Youtube views on their single Beware the Dog, I’m guessing a ticket to this show would be really impressive.

AQUA – Friday 31st @ Eatons Hill
The Meet & Greet gold passes are all sold out for this gig but you can still get regular old tickets for this Halloween show. I mean, what’s scarier than 90’s bubblegum pop?
