Doprah Announce Debut Australian Show

New Zealand duo Doprah are excited to announce their debut Australian show at Sydney's Lansdowne Hotel on Saturday 11th October after topping Billboard's Next Big Sound chart off the back of the rapturous international response to new single "Stranger People".

The free performance comes en-route to New York's CMJ festival in October and will follow the Australian release of their self-titled debut EP this Friday 26th September.

Doprah is the partnership between producer Steven Marr and vocalist Indira Force. Based in Christchurch, the pair have already had two singles reach #1 on New Zealand's Alternative Chart, supported Lorde at her post-Grammy homecoming show and performed on the Auckland arm of Laneway Festival. Expanding to a six-piece on stage, Doprah is known for their immersive live experience, creating a sound that is not so much international as intergalactic – noise that stretches outwards and inward as if concocted in a particularly colourful area of your mind.

Doprah will be making their Australian debut at Sydney's Lansdowne Hotel on Saturday 11th October with support from Magic Hands (Melbourne) and Twin Caverns. Entry is free.
