Free StormChasers Gig At The Milk Factory In West End

StormChasers take the stage in Brisbane again after a  short absence to bring their brand of funk & soul back to West End.  Saturday October 4th at The Milk Factory sees them take the stage  in a free entry show to shake your tail  feather at!

If ever there were a band who personified the  exuberance, optimism and free-spirited nature of youth, it would be  StormChasers. Listen up, Funk/Soul brothers and sisters; this 7-piece  crew from Brisbane is here to make their way into your heart and provide many a soundtrack for your youth.

Their particular brand of  funk/soul/pop sets dance floors alight – horns, funky keyboard lines,  electronic and big, bold beats, as well as huge, beautiful harmonies. It pretty much makes them a perfect complement to a night on the tiles. The crew - a collection of stupendously good-looking and  great-sounding boys and girls - have been making  their way into the minds and hearts of the Australian music-loving  community, selling out venues in Brisbane and South-East Queensland and  venturing out on East Coast tours.

Someone Else, a follow-up single to late 2012 single The Window,  however, has been what has really got the ball rolling. Embarking on an  east coast tour in march 2013 to support the track, triple j got right  behind the song - with it being added to spot rotation on triple j and  being played on Richard Kingsmill's 2013, Home and Hosed with Dom  Alessio, Sarah Howells' Roots n All and more, as well as featured on the new music podcast and full rotation on triple j unearthed.

Their brand new EP 'HEY  GIRL' was released in January 2014 and is  available everywhere on CD, Vinyl and Digital, along with their filmclip for Familiar Sounds and a 5-track set of remixes by local producers.

The show is free entry and kicks off at 8:00pm. The Milk Factory is on Montague Road in West End, across from the Pauls Milk Factory.
