Foster The People Announce Splendour Sideshows

Yay for more Splendour sideshows!

Foster the People have just announced that they will be joined by Sydney indie rockers Gang of Youths for their upcoming Splendour in the Grass sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.

The ever-charming Californians certainly know what’s up. Their album Torches sold nearly two million copies worldwide and nobody will ever, ever forget their 6 x platinum, song of the year Pumped Up Kicks. Their much-anticipated second release Supermodel has just dropped with Coming of Age and infectious new track Best Friend currently in high radio rotation and set to be among the songs of 2014.

Meanwhile, Gang of Youths have been setting tongues wagging over the past 18 months. The band were hailed as NME magazine’s number one ‘buzz band’ last September, serving as a well earned accolade off the back of tireless touring supporting the likes of Cloud Control, Smith Westerns and Sky Ferreira, Vampire Weekend, The Jezabels and Frightened Rabbit.
