Brisbane has welcomed an exciting new live music venue this month. The Brightside is the creation of promoters Destroy All Lines, partnering with Brisbane’s The Fans Group (the team behind Alhambra), to provide a home for alternative music fans in Brisbane.
The Brightside kicked off from the beginning of May, with the stage, located on Warner Street in The Valley, has already played host to a wide range of local and international acts.
Coming up on May 16th Bluesfest legend, Kim Churchill, will be performing an intimate showcase, and Melbourne 5 piece extreme thrash-grind-death-punk group King Parrot play on May 24th.
Singer songwriter and guitarist Kim Churchill hits the road this coming May / June for a National 16 date Australian tour. The Australian dates see Kim home in support of his latest single "Window to The Sky" and the soon to be released album “Silence / Win”.
King Parrot will also be returning to Australian soil after what has so far been a hugely successful debut North American tour. Their unique and explosive live show and humour is building them a reputation internationally as one of the most entertaining acts in extreme metal. Be sure to catch King Parrot at The Brightside on May 24th.
