Ziggy, The Songs Of David Bowie Is Back

Take a theatrical and musical journey and explore the creative genius of David Bowie as his songs are brought to life when Ziggy, The Songs of David Bowie returns to Australia in August. The new Ziggy is bigger, bolder, brasher, sexier, more glamorous and more exciting than ever before.

David Bowie has been hailed as a rock, movie and Broadway star as well as a sex symbol and pop phenomenon is beyond legendary. I mean seriously, in 1999 his peers (and yes his peers were Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Rod Stuart and Bono), voted him the most influential artist of the 20th century.

Ziggy, The Songs of David Bowie stars four of Australia’s most electrifying performers – iOTA, Jeff Duff, Steve Balbi and Brydon Stace. Together with a star-studded band the show provides the opportunity to see some of the greatest rock singers in Australia combined with some of the greatest musicians playing, undoubtedly, the greatest music of all time. The show spans most of his career going back as far as his late 1960’s hit Space Oddity and featuring hits from Heroes, Life on Mars, Young Americans, Starman, Fame,  Ashes to Ashes,  Under Pressure, Ziggy Stardust,  Let's Dance and more.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 9:00am on Monday, 19th May 2014.
