Tourism Release New Single 'A Song For You'

tourism

Tourism has racked up some seriously impressive credentials during their short time together, from infiltrating the Australian indie-pop scene powered by raw, snarling rock rhythms and guitars guiding powerfully delivered British melodies as a local act opening the Main Amphitheatre Stage at Splendour in the Grass 2011, sharing the stage with the likes of Faker, Snakadaktal, Art of Sleeping, The Preatures, The Belligerents and touring nationally with Tigertown, the boys now set the bar with the single launch of  'A Song For You (Once Beaten Black and Blue)' premiering October 29 on Home & Hosed Triple J with Dom Alessio.

With a rapidly growing Australian and International fan base, the boys (Jozef Wisniewski on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, James Wisniewski on Bass, Adrian Brown as Lead Guitarist and Drummer, Ben Fothergill) originating from Derbyshire, England are now taking advantage of their profile to (in a manner now accustomed to their performance style) touch on the issue of domestic abuse in ‘A Song For You (Once Beaten Black and Blue)’.

“The song is about domestic abuse”, we wanted to get people talking and address our ideas for a change”. Having already substantiated their presence in the Indie-pop scene by feeding their fan base with a captivating live presence during their first headline tour supporting their follow up single “Float Away” in April this year, Tourism continues their unstoppable journey toward further developing their playful to straight up dirty sound and high energy live performances they are
recognised for.

Stay tuned for the new film clip later this month!
