SpringFlare is one of Australia’s biggest colour music festivals is coming to UQ this Saturday, the 2015 headliners were announced this morning.
SpringFlare is inspired by the ancient Holi Festival which is celebrated every spring throughout South East Asia. The unique festival is all about celebrating diversity and cultivating human spirit, each year thousands of festival goers all dressed in white will come together to dance and listen to live music, while throwing coloured powder into the sky to celebrate.
After playing to massive crowds at Splendour in the Grass and completing huge UK and European tour, Melbourne 5 piece, the Delta Riggs are heading back to Queensland to join the line-up.
Sydney hip-hop duo, Jackie Onassis are also joining the colour-fuelled fun, they’ve just released their new single Mia from their much anticipated debut album set to drop later this year.
Willow Beats hail from Melbourne and are packing up their bass heavy electronic sounds and bringing it up to the sunshine state off the back of their recently announced national tour with Tkay Maidza.
Rounding out the 2015 line-up is Gold Coast producer Mikey Perry aka, Paces who will have the crowd up and dancing with his tropical infused sound.
This is an all ages event that will run from midday Saturday into the evening, tickets available from oztix.com.au.
