Parkway Drive Announce Supports for Anniversary Tour
Undisputed kings of Australian hardcore, PARKWAY DRIVE are set to commemorate 10 years of incredible achievements with a special anniversary tour this September.
Ever since dates were announced back in March, rumours have been flying around on who would appear on the second annual Unify Gathering line up. But the wait is finally over and the line-up has been released via Triple J today.
The two day music and camping festival will take over the quiet Tarwin Meadows in South Gippsland, Victoria on January 16 & 17 with a variety of music this time round ranging from hardcore to pop punk featuring headliners Parkway Drive, In Hearts Wake and Tonight Alive as part of the 18 band line up.
Following a highly successful debut in 2015, the site which is a two-hour drive from Melbourne has been upgraded to 5000 after famously selling out the 3000 ticket allocation in just 3 hours. However, early bird tickets for 2016 went on sale earlier in the month and have already sold out the 2000 that was allocated so don’t rest on this one!
While the line-up is mostly Australian acts again, the second year of the event sees Neck Deep (UK), State Champs (US) and Stray From The Path (US) being added to the line-up which is set to be even bigger and better than 2015.
The Legends in Parkway Drive will headline the Saturday evening of the event after releasing their incredible new album IRE today via Resist Records and have already embarked on their massive Australian tour that sees them playing huge rooms and arenas.
Unify alumni In Hearts Wake are set to return to the event after dominating the 2015 event. Having toured relentlessly since releasing their album Skydancer that reached #2 on the ARIA charts, the Byron Bay locals will have reached a full 12 months of non-stop touring cycle around the world, this will be their last show before they take a well-earned break so don’t miss this chance to see them.
Tonight Alive are another band who are continuously touring without a break and have just ended their 18-month world tour for The Other Side that saw them play on the main stage of Soundwave 2015. The band have been hard at work getting their third full length album together and Unify Gathering will be their first show back after a 6 month break.
Finishing off the line up are Hands Like Houses, Dream On Dreamer, Make Them Suffer, Hellions, Trophy Eyes, Ocean Grove, Stories, Void Of Vision, Columbus and The Weight Of Silence. There will also be a Triple J Unearthed competition slot available for local bands and a supergroup cover band scheduled for the Saturday night entertainment.
Tickets will include free camping, live music, BYO and licensed areas, themed bar and cocktails, mini gold, a giant connect four and giant jenga, life-size foosball, chill out area, hand-selected food trucks and local vendors!
The remaining tickets will go on sale Thursday, October 1 at 12pm AEST via 24hundred. Check out the full line up below and highlights from 2015!

Who can argue with Parkway Drive? Probably Australia’s most successful export, these guys own mansions from merch sales alone.
