Queens Of The Stone Age Announce Tasmanian Show
Our southern cousins are rejoicing today as rock royalty Queens Of The Stone Age announce a Tasmanian stop over on their Australian tour.
After a sold out debut this year, A Festival Called Panama is set to return next year to Tasmania’s Northeast.
From the 11 to 13 of March, the Lone Star Valley will be taken over by stages, nightclubs, speakeasies and food markets.
Featuring on the one and only main stage is a well-curated line-up of up and comers as well as celebrated cult figures from around the country and the world. Smaller venues set in old canvas tents and candlelit bars will host sideshows of wild jazz, world-class cabarets, intimate acoustic sessions, riveting story telling and ripping DJs.
The first round of artist announcements will take place in October, while the 1250 tickets available will go on sale 1 December.
On-site camping is available amongst the picturesque camping fields among the towering Panama forest. On offer will be Launceston roasted coffee and fresh cooked meals from the best food vans and caterers Tasmania has to offer. Small batch apple cider will be brewed on site, as well as a range of locally brewed craft beers and select Tasmanian wines.
A Festival Called Panama is a unique festival that will offer not only some of the most exciting and eclectic music but also a great taste of the things that make Tasmania great.
