The latest band announced in the ongoing drip feed of bands for Soundwave 2016 is metal supergroup Devil You Know.
Fronted by former Killswitch Engage singer Howard Jones, they are the eighth band so far confirmed, and join the ranks of Bring Me The Horizon, Northlane, Refused, Bullet For My Valentine, Dead Letter Circus, Failure and 2006 Eurovision winners Lordi.
As you probably already know, this protracted process of announcing bands one at a time will continue for at least two more weeks while the early bird tickets are on sale, before a full first round line-up announcement later in the month.
Acts rumoured to be included on the bill include Ghost, Disturbed, Violent Soho and Lindemann, the new side project for Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann.
Soundwave in 2016 will be held a month earlier than past years and take advantage of the Australia Day long weekend in January. The tour will start in Brisbane on Saturday 23 January and head south to Sydney the following day before the third and final date in Melbourne on Tuesday 26 January.
