Bring Me The Horizon Confirmed For Soundwave 2016

British metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon have just been confirmed as the latest band to join the line-up for Soundwave 2016.

The announcement coincides with the release of their fifth studio album, ‘That’s The Spirit’.

So far, the other six bands that have been confirmed are Northlane, Refused, Dead Letter Circus, Bullet For My Valentine and 2006 Eurovision winners Lordi.

The infuriating drip-feed of artists will continue for at least two more weeks before the big line-up of 22 bands drops after the early bird tickets are taken off sale later this month.

Soundwave boss AJ Maddah hinted that next year’s monster headliner will be a band that has never played Soundwave before, which sent the Twittersphere in to speculation meltdown.

Next years heavy metal festival of festivals is tipped to be “heavier” than usual, with an emphasis on better bands for longer sets, as the festival looks to take advantage of an earlier date over the Australia Day long weekend in January.

One this is for certain, this full line-up announcement couldn’t come sooner!
