Groovy Local and Emerging Additions to Groovin' the Moo Bill

Groovin’ the Moo has received its final tasty additions to the festival bill, with Triple J Unearthed winners to open the festival in each state’s location decided, as well as other high-profile additions to fill out the returning spin-off party stage, The Plot.

Unearthed winners for GTM 2015 include local outfit Fountaineer, who will tackle Bendigo with their atmospheric alt-rock; Townsville benefits from the additional of Sam Wright’s wistful Sun Kil Moon-esque laments; alt-punk outfit Yours Alone travel from their native Newcastle to Maitland; sassy hip-hop duo Coda Conduct for Canberra; Timberwolf has Oakbank sorted for throaty, smoky alt-folk in the Boy & Bear mould; and Said the People, a five-piece rock band from Bussleton for Bunbury.

However, there are also a host of other acts added that haven’t taken the youth broadcaster’s route: Jesse Davidson and SPARKSPITTER in Oakland; Doctopus, Timothy Nelson & the Infidels, FOAM and Tired Lion in Bunbury; Townsville has added King Social, Mosman Alder and THEOUTDOORZ; Maitland receives Just A Gent, East and the Soorleys; Bendigo will see Ecca Vandal, Pierce Brothers and Harts; and finally, Canberra welcomes Montaigne, Xavier Dunn and Boo Seeka.

These artists join previously announced local and international acts for the Groovin’ the Moo tour, including: A$AP Ferg, Ball Park Music, Charli XCX, DMA’s, Flight Facilities, Hermitude, The Preatures, RL Grime, San Cisco, Tkay Maidza and You Me at Six.

Tickets for Bendigo and Maitland have sold out, but you can still get tickets for elsewhere here.
