Soundwave 2014 Lineup Announcement
Soundwave has announced a killer lineup for the 2014 festival including American Punk outfit Greenday along with Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington of Link Park,...
Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah has just revealed that a third and final lineup of artists will be release this Wednesday afternoon!
Approximately seven new bands are expected to feature in the announcement, including “one or two” metal bands. What’s more interesting is that Maddah has stated the new acts are “slightly bigger” than those of the previous release, although how much bigger is unknown. Considering that the second announcement included the exciting new “supergroup” Killer be Killed, comprised of musicians from Mastodon, The Mars Volta and The Dillinger Escape Plan, the potential for some epic last minute additions seems promising.
This new list will bring the total number of acts at Soundwave to over 70 during its two days. The new acts will join the likes of Faith No More, Slipknot and Judas Priest who are already confirmed to play Australia’s biggest punk/metal/hardcore festival.
