OutsideIn Festival Reveals Second Line Up

Following the much-hyped first announcement of OutsideIn Festival 2014, the good folk at Astral People and Yes Please now delight us with the second batch of handpicked musical excellence.

Leading the charge on the second announcement is Chicago house luminary Roy Davis Jr.whose self titled soul-electronica sound has graced the label archives of Defected, Strictly Rhythm, XL Recordings and Universal to name a few. It's hard to talk about Roy Davis Jr. without mentioning seminal US garage classic "Gabriel," a huge highlight in a career that has seen Roy work with the likes of Eric Benet/Faith Evans, Mary J. Bligeand Seal.

Chicago born, NYC raised Brenmar, who is set to release an EP on Fool's Gold just in time for his visit to these shores, completes the international lineup for this year's event packing footwork, bassline, Hip-Hop, Hot 97 vocals and Timbaland sheen in a tight-knit frenzy for the fastest of feet.

Bringing out the doglover in everyone, Sydney's thoroughbred hero Basenji will also be taking to the stage, bringing a technicolour performance with beats that are equal parts cute and slapping – you're pretty much guaranteed to hear current single "Heirloom" which was released on Sydney label Future Classic this month.

Keeping it in the Astral family, long distance internet pop sensation Collarbones will introduce you to their evocative live treatment, creating an intimate IRL connection with their fans through their tantric twist on RnB and sensual anti-pop – this is sure to turn you into a Collarboner™ on the spot. Tuff, dark and handsome and one of the most important dance floor assets on the day – Late Nite Tuff Guy aka DJ HMC - is also joining the party, backed by Melbourne bro Noise In My Head, as well as fellow radio host Chris Barker from Astral People's FBi Click show, holding it down with dance floor oddities and well-worn club trax mixed with the RnB of tomorrow.

Previously announced headliners The Pharcyde, Seekae, Pantha Du Prince (GER), Giraffage (US) and Client Liaison round up an impressive list of live electronica acts set to feature at this year's event, taking place Saturday 29 November at Manning House, Sydney.

The day will also feature the likes of Sweden's HNNY (read Honey), garage LEGEND Wookie (UK), DJ Spinn (US), MC Rome Fortune (US), Jubilee (US), Tornado Wallace, Fishing, Guerre, Black Vanilla, Retiree, Preacha & Moriarty and Sui Zhen as well as Astral People friends Andy Webb and Ariane.

With a line-up that showcases musical highlights from the past, present and the future, across three perfectly curated arenas, including the addition of festival favourite Red Bull Music Academy stage, tickets for this year's event are already scarce.

Stay tuned for set-times and after-party details.
