Okay listen up, Listen Out is only about a month away and we've been spending some time in the office daydreaming about our ultimate collabs from the line up. We've already seen the sparks that ignite every time Chet Faker and Flume jump on a track together, so we thought we'd do a little matchmaking ourselves.
In no particular order we present to you:
1. YG and Ta-Ku Okay, yes you may be thinking that these artists are total opposites and that it would never work. But wait, imagine this: 'Who Do You Love', Ta-Ku style. We're drooling in anticipation.
2. Tkay Maidza & Zhu Uh-huh, uh-huh and they'd be like, baby I'm wasted..... This girls voice teamed up with the some of the smoothest beats we've ever heard from Zhu would be a match made in heaven. Well, we think so anyway.
3. Zhu & Chet Faker So you're probably thinking we're a bit obsessed with Zhu (and you'd be right) but there's something about the entrancing quality of Chet Faker's voice and jazzy undertones from the 'Built On Glass' album that makes us think this would be a match made in heaven.
4. Bondax & Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Two totally addicting electro acts that we think should do the deed on each others tracks.. and by deed we mean *whispers* remix! 'Giving It All Without You' sounds like the title of a pretty damn cool song that we'd wanna get down to, just saying.
5. Schoolboy Q & Shlohmo Again to opposites that you probably wouldn't pick to collaborate, but we think we'd rather like to hear Schoolboy Q rapping 'Man Of The Year' with a Shlohmo twist... in fact, we think it'd 'Break the Bank'. Okay we're done with the bad puns now, but just picture it...
