Event You Wish You Could Attend: FOR Festival

In ‘festivals we wish we could go to’ news FOR festival in Croatia has released its official line up and dates and have officially made us jealous of Croatia for the first time.

Boasting an impressive line-up of electronica legends like Klaxons and Mark Ronson FOR takes place in Hvar a small island off the coast of Croatia. Accessible only by boat you can choose to spend your four night stay at a luxurious hotel or camping in nearby grounds.

For just $335 AU you too could enjoy nightly performances in a converted monastery followed by a boat ride to Carpe Diam Beach (No, I am not kidding you) for an exclusive and intimate beach party. What to do during the day though? Event organisers recommend that “During the day, attendees can swim in the aqua Mediterranean waters, explore the island’s historical sites, and feast on local culinary delights.”

Now in its second year, 2013’s FOR festival featured acts like James Blake, James Murphy from LCD Sound System and Australia’s own Tame Impala.
