North West Festival announces more acts
Having recently announced the first annual North West Festival, set to take over the heart of the Pilbara Region, Port Hedland, Sunset Events are thrilled to be adding two amazing bands to the bill. Joining the Hilltop Hoods at the Port Hedland Turf Club on Saturday 18th August are The Living End and The Cat Empire.
The Living End are quite simply one of Australia's greatest living rock bands. The infamous trio of Chris Cheney, Scott Owen and Andy Strachan (who replaced Travis Dempsey in 2002) have released six classic albums, two of which have gone to number 1 on the ARIA charts. They have won countless awards including ARIA’s, APRA’s and Jack’s and hold the record for the most consecutive entries in triple j’s Hottest 100, making the cut every year from 1997 – 2006.
